About Digital Prof
Hello, I’m Jerry Lucas, the Digital Professor. Welcome!
I assist academics in bringing their research, teaching, and service into the digital age. Collaborate with me to design and implement your own digital projects and presence in line with digital theory and practice. I work with academics to design unique solutions to their online needs—anything from a simple digital landing page, to an entire knowledgebase of digital content.

About Jerry
I have been working in higher education for over 25 years—since the beginning of the digital age. My Ph.D., earned in 2002, is in literary studies, but my work might be considered more akin to the Digital Humanities. I have been working at the intersection of traditional academics and new media since you first heard about the World Wide Web.
I have expertise in most areas of the Digital Humanities—the practice of theorizing and remediating analog materials into appropriate digital forms. Since the early days of the Internet, I have been designing web sites that rethink access to individual and communal knowledge construction and dissemination. I work with colleagues in higher education to bring their ideas into digital form that emphasizes openness, participation, and access.
